Responsibility

  • Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, and drivetrain systems across diverse vehicle makes and models
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs
  • Utilize advanced electronic diagnostic equipment to accurately identify electrical, mechanical, and computer system faults
  • Document all repair procedures clearly on work orders and update digital vehicle history records
  • Collaborate with service advisors to communicate vehicle status, repair timelines, and recommended services to customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are properly stored and equipment is in working order
  • Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance before customer delivery

Qualification

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic or equivalent role
  • Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • ASE Certification in relevant areas (Engine, Brakes, Suspension) preferred but not required
  • Strong command of automotive technical concepts including ignition, fuel, and electrical systems
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret diagnostic trouble codes and wiring diagrams
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and work in various environmental conditions
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive technical school training a plus
