Responsibility
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Conduct thorough test drives to ensure proper vehicle function.
- Communicate with customers regarding repairs and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
- Keep up-to-date with latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Assist in training junior technicians when needed.
- Ensure all work is completed within estimated time frames.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational training program in automotive technology preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive mechanic.
- ASE certification (Automotive Service Excellence) required.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
