Responsibility
- Conduct detailed client consultations to understand preferences, measurements, and style requirements.
- Create and modify patterns for bespoke garments, ensuring perfect fit and design.
- Cut, sew, and finish suits, jackets, trousers, shirts, and other custom clothing with meticulous attention to detail.
- Perform fittings and adjustments, making alterations to achieve impeccable fit.
- Maintain high standards of quality control in all stages of garment production.
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously, prioritizing deadlines without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with the atelier team to share techniques and maintain consistency.
- Stay updated on fashion trends and tailoring innovations to refine techniques.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a Tailor in a bespoke or luxury tailoring house, ideally on Savile Row or similar.
- Advanced knowledge of pattern making, draping, and garment construction for men's or women's wear.
- Exceptional hand-sewing and machine-sewing skills.
- Strong understanding of fabric types, weaves, and garment care.
- Excellent client-facing communication and consultation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to perfection.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality tailored garments.
