Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic evaluations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses using current clinical guidelines and best practices
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and preferences
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses to treatment regimens
- Provide preventive care services including vaccinations, health screenings, and wellness counseling
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records and maintain proper coding
Qualification
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Family Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine or equivalent
- Valid medical license to practice in the State of Texas with no restrictions
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority for controlled substances
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or family medicine setting
- Demonstrated expertise in managing diverse patient populations across all age groups
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build rapport with patients
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous professional development
