Responsibility
- Perform complex general surgical procedures with exceptional precision and outcomes
- Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and develop comprehensive surgical plans
- Provide expert post-operative care and manage follow-up treatment protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Mentor and train surgical residents and medical students
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancing surgical techniques
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualification
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery
- Completion of accredited surgical residency program (5+ years)
- Valid Massachusetts medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Fellowship training in subspecialty preferred but not required
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
