Job Description
TechForward Analytics is seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our growing team in Chicago. In this role, you will bridge the gap between IT and business operations, using data-driven insights to drive strategic decision-making and process improvements across the organization.
You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure successful implementation of solutions that drive efficiency and growth.
Responsibility
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
- Create detailed functional specifications and technical documentation for development teams
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to align business needs with technical solutions
- Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Support user acceptance testing and ensure successful deployment of solutions
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track business performance
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database querying and data manipulation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- CBAP or PMI-PBA certification is a plus but not required
