Responsibility
- Greet customers warmly and process purchases accurately using the POS system
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and integrity
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer at all times and reconcile daily transactions
- Assist customers with product inquiries, returns, exchanges, and loyalty programs
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with bags and supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer flow
- Adhere to all company policies, security procedures, and safety guidelines
- Provide feedback to management on customer trends and operational improvements
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic math skills
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
