Responsibility
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently ring up customer purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, answer product-related questions, and provide recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers, balance daily transactions, and adhere to all company financial policies and audit procedures.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies; assist with maintaining a tidy sales floor.
- Merchandising Support: Assist in inventory counts, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are displayed according to visual merchandising standards.
- Issue Resolution: Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns or complaints with patience and professionalism.
Qualification
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or cashiering is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Skills: Strong numerical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
- Communication: Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and friendly with diverse customers.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
