Responsibility
- Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized birth plans
- Perform physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results
- Offer education on contraception, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Manage low-risk pregnancies and facilitate natural births
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research
Qualification
- Master's degree in Nursing with Nurse-Midwifery specialization
- ACNM/NARM certification as a Certified Nurse-Midwife
- Current Oregon RN license and prescriptive authority
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in women's health
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
