We are seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide exceptional, evidence-based care to women across their reproductive lifespan.
As a CNM at our state-of-the-art birth center and outpatient clinic, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver personalized, holistic care. Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to women with low-risk pregnancies
- Deliver babies in both hospital and birth center settings, ensuring safety and comfort
- Conduct annual gynecological exams, family planning consultations, and reproductive health screenings
- Develop individualized birth plans and provide education on labor, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for high-risk cases requiring consultation or transfer
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR)
- Participate in community outreach programs and educational workshops
- Mentor student midwives and junior staff members
Qualification
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon with current CNS or ARNP designation
- Completion of an accredited nurse-midwifery education program (master's degree preferred)
- National Certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical midwifery experience in a hospital or birth center setting
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring, IV placement, and emergency obstetric interventions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations
- BLS and NRP certifications required; fetal monitoring certification preferred
