Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological care to diverse patient populations
- Manage labor and delivery including natural births, VBACs, and emergency interventions
- Perform newborn assessments and facilitate immediate bonding procedures
- Lead evidence-based patient education on childbirth preparation, lactation, and family planning
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, doulas, and lactation consultants for coordinated care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research opportunities
- Maintain meticulous electronic health records and documentation
Qualification
- Master's degree in Nursing with Nurse-Midwifery specialization (ACNM accredited)
- Current Colorado RN license and CNM certification (AMCB)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in women's health
- BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated cultural competency in serving diverse communities
- Strong proficiency in electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
