Job Description
Meridian Engineering & Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance projects for residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.

Responsibility
- Design and supervise the construction of highways, bridges, tunnels, buildings, and other infrastructure projects
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments
- Prepare detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications using CAD software
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes
- Calculate material quantities, costs, and project timelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and construction challenges
- Monitor construction progress and perform quality control inspections
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; EIT certification accepted
- 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering design and construction projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, or similar engineering software
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, hydraulics, and structural analysis
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
