Responsibility
- Command and operate aircraft in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, including verifying weight and balance, weather conditions, and fuel loads.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the Captain, cabin crew, and dispatchers to ensure smooth and on-time flight operations.
- Communicate effectively with Air Traffic Control and adhere to flight plans, adjusting for any operational or environmental changes.
- Monitor all aircraft systems, fuel consumption, and navigation equipment throughout the flight, troubleshooting any anomalies.
- Maintain strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles.
- Provide exceptional service leadership, ensuring passenger safety and comfort from departure to arrival.
- Complete all required flight documentation and post-flight reports accurately and promptly.
Qualification
- Possess a valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with multi-engine rating, or ATP Written Exam passed (Restricted ATP accepted).
- Minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time (1,250 hours with a degree from an approved aviation institution).
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- A valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Proven ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT physical.
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the United States with the ability to obtain a U.S. Passport.
- Willingness to relocate to base (Miami, FL) and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
