Job Description

SkyWay Airlines is seeking a motivated and skilled First Officer to join our domestic operations team at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. As a First Officer, you will support the Captain in ensuring safe, efficient, and punctual flights across our network. Responsibility

  • Assist the Captain in all phases of flight planning, pre-flight inspections, and aircraft operations.
  • Monitor aircraft systems, navigation, and fuel consumption to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with air traffic control and cockpit crew during all flight phases.
  • Perform cockpit duties including checklists, log entries, and emergency procedures as required.
  • Provide leadership and support for cabin crew and passengers, maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Adhere to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and airline standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in recurrent training sessions, simulator checks, and safety briefings.
  • Complete accurate flight reports and debriefs after each trip.

Qualification

  • Valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate or meet the eligibility requirements for an ATP with an R-ATP restriction.
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum 1,500 total flight hours with at least 500 hours of multi-engine experience.
  • Instrument and Multi-Engine Rating with demonstrated proficiency.
  • Strong Crew Resource Management (CRM) and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
