Responsibility
- Safely operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver packages and documents according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Verify delivery details and obtain necessary signatures, payments, or proof of delivery as required.
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Sort and organize packages for efficient loading and unloading.
- Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate dispatch updates and delays effectively using company-provided devices.
- Assist with warehouse duties during non-delivery periods as needed.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Class E or equivalent preferred).
- Proven experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a similar role (1+ year preferred).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable using GPS navigation and mobile applications.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
