Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms and respond to incidents with forensic analysis
- Develop comprehensive incident response plans and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current on emerging threats and regulatory compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Lead security awareness training for employees and stakeholders
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and mitigation
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expert knowledge of network security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, Cisco)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to document complex security protocols
- Proven track record of handling security incidents and compliance audits
