Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection platforms
- Lead incident response activities including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and containment procedures
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and execute security awareness training programs for technical and non-technical staff
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC preferred
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Proficiency in security tools: Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Kali Linux
- Strong understanding of zero-trust architecture and zero-day threat mitigation
- Experience developing security policies and procedures for enterprise environments
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly
