Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security measures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Lead incident response activities during security breaches, minimizing damage and ensuring swift recovery
- Develop and execute security awareness training programs for employees
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and investigate suspicious activities
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into all system development lifecycles
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and threat mitigation
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, Cisco)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
