Responsibility
- Implement and maintain advanced security protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption systems
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps
- Lead incident response procedures including threat analysis, containment, and recovery
- Develop and execute security awareness training for employees
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and investigate anomalies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into system architectures
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on experience in threat detection and incident response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, CompTIA Security+)
- Expertise in network security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike)
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts
