Responsibility
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and conduct thorough incident investigations.
- Design and implement security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of servers, endpoints, and cloud environments.
- Provide security awareness training to staff and promote a culture of cybersecurity.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies to proactively enhance defenses.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with proven expertise in threat analysis and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure).
