Responsibility
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Common Core standards
- Create inclusive classroom environments that celebrate diverse learning styles
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations
- Collaborate with special education specialists and support staff
- Communicate effectively with parents through conferences and digital platforms
- Integrate technology into daily instruction to enhance student engagement
- Participate in curriculum development and school-wide initiatives
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- Valid New York State Teaching Certification (Grades K-5)
- Minimum 3 years classroom teaching experience
- Demonstrated expertise in differentiated instruction
- Strong classroom management skills with trauma-informed approach
- Proficiency in educational technology (Google Classroom, Seesaw)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
