Responsibility
- Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans aligned with state standards and school curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and student achievement
- Utilize formative and summative assessments to track student progress and adjust instructional strategies
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and specialists to enhance student learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with parents through conferences, newsletters, and digital platforms
- Mentor student teachers and participate in ongoing professional development
- Organize engaging extracurricular activities to extend classroom learning
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification for Elementary Education
- Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience
- Demonstrated expertise in literacy and mathematics instruction
- Proficiency in educational technology (Google Classroom, Seesaw, etc.)
- Strong classroom management skills with trauma-informed approach
- Experience with differentiated instruction for diverse learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
