Responsibility
- Plan and deliver effective lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards and district guidelines
- Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, assignments, and observations to inform instruction
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and proactive strategies
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and accommodate various learning styles
- Maintain accurate student records, grades, and progress reports
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field from an accredited institution
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification (EC-6 Generalist or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience with demonstrated student achievement
- Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment methods
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and educational best practices
- Proficiency in using technology and educational software for instruction
