Responsibility
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and foot patrols to detect suspicious activity
- Enforce access control protocols and verify visitor credentials
- Respond promptly to security incidents with de-escalation techniques
- Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct fire safety inspections and emergency response drills
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors
Qualification
- Valid Illinois Security Guard License (PERC)
- Minimum 2 years commercial security experience
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Proficient in surveillance systems and access control software
- Exceptional conflict resolution and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
