Bistro Luxe Group is seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to lead our flagship Manhattan restaurant. In this role, you will oversee all culinary operations, drive menu innovation, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Youâll work closely with our management team to maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency while inspiring a dynamic team of chefs and line cooks.
Responsibility
- Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Design, develop, and update seasonal menus that highlight fresh, local ingredients.
- Manage, train, and mentor kitchen staff to foster growth and teamwork.
- Enforce strict food safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with NYC health regulations.
- Control food costs through effective inventory management, portioning, and vendor relations.
- Collaborate with the frontâofâhouse team to deliver consistent, highâquality presentations.
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into our culinary offerings.
Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a chef in a highâvolume, fineâdining environment.
- Associateâs or Bachelorâs degree in Culinary Arts (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse kitchen team.
- Deep knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and New York City health code standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Creative flair for menu development and a passion for culinary excellence.
- Proven experience in inventory control, cost management, and vendor negotiation.
