Responsibility
- Operate company tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on assigned regional routes.
- Transport freight and goods to designated customer locations in a timely manner.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local DOT regulations, FMCSRs, and HOS rules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, delivery receipts, and other required paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries, acting as a brand ambassador.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and load bars to prevent damage in transit.
- Uphold the company's strict safety standards and zero-accident culture.
Qualification
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verified over-the-road (OTR) or regional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
- Proven ability to navigate and manage routes effectively using GPS and paper maps.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and weight distribution requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
