Responsibility
- Manage crop cultivation including planting, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control
- Operate and maintain farm machinery (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Oversee livestock care including feeding, health monitoring, and pasture rotation
- Monitor soil quality and implement sustainable land management practices
- Coordinate seasonal harvests and ensure product quality standards
- Maintain detailed farm records and inventory systems
- Train and supervise seasonal farm workers
- Develop and execute crop rotation plans for maximum yield
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of professional farming experience
- Certification in sustainable agriculture or agronomy preferred
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain
- Proficiency with farm equipment operation and basic maintenance
- Knowledge of organic farming practices and certifications
- Strong problem-solving skills for weather-related challenges
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and harvest seasons
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions
