Responsibility
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections and ensure aircraft airworthiness per FAA regulations.
- Execute flight plans, including weather analysis, fuel calculations, and route optimization.
- Monitor aircraft systems, navigation instruments, and automated controls during all phases of flight.
- Maintain continuous radio communication with air traffic control and adhere to altitude, speed, and vector instructions.
- Respond promptly and decisively to in-flight emergencies, system failures, and abnormal situations using CRM principles.
- Complete accurate flight logs, reports, and post-flight documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with ground crew, cabin crew, and operations teams to ensure on-time departures and superior passenger experience.
Qualification
- Valid ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) certificate with appropriate type ratings.
- Minimum 1,500 hours total flight time, including 500 hours multi-engine turbine.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Proven proficiency in instrument flight rules (IFR) and advanced automation management.
- Strong communication and crew resource management skills.
- Ability to work irregular schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended trips.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related field is an asset.
