Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning for patients of all ages
- Execute general dentistry procedures including restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and preventive treatments
- Design and implement individualized patient care plans while maintaining detailed clinical documentation
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and specialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
- Educate patients on oral health topics, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations
- Stay current with emerging dental techniques, materials, and industry best practices through ongoing education
- Participate in practice marketing initiatives and contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinical environment
Qualification
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Active Illinois dental license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Illinois
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry required; recent graduates with strong clinical skills will be considered
- Proficiency in digital radiography, intraoral scanning, and electronic health record systems
- Demonstrated expertise in restorative dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine commitment to patient comfort and care
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and manage a busy patient schedule
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a professional demeanor
