Responsibility
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules ensuring every room meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Meticulously launder, press, and care for fine linens, clothing, and delicate materials, including hand-washing and dry-cleaning follow-ups.
- Manage deep cleaning projects such as marble polishing, chandelier dusting, and carpet extraction.
- Perform routine organization of closets, drawers, pantries, and libraries, optimizing space and maintaining inventory of household goods.
- Greet and assist household vendors, contractors, and staff professionally, coordinating schedules as directed.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and household sundries, staying within budget parameters.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding the family's personal affairs, routines, and property.
- Report any maintenance issues or security concerns promptly to the Estate Manager.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a private housekeeper or fine hotel room attendant, with verifiable professional references.
- Comprehensive knowledge of luxury cleaning products, equipment, and techniques specific to antiques, art, and high-end finishes.
- Impeccable organizational skills with the ability to anticipate the needs of a busy household.
- Professional demeanor, polished communication skills, and a flexible, proactive attitude.
- Valid identification and legal right to work in the United States.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for long periods.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
