Responsibility
- Oversee all aspects of crop production including planting, cultivation, irrigation, and harvesting
- Manage and supervise farm workers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
- Maintain and repair farm equipment and machinery
- Monitor soil conditions, pest populations, and crop health
- Implement sustainable farming practices and environmental compliance
- Manage farm budgets, inventory, and supply ordering
- Coordinate with agronomists and agricultural experts for crop optimization
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Qualification
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in farm management or similar agricultural role
- Strong knowledge of crop production, irrigation systems, and soil management
- Experience with farm equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to manage and lead a team of farm workers
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional agricultural education a plus
