Responsibility
- Serve as Second-in-Command (SIC) on scheduled and charter B737 operations, championing a robust safety culture.
- Execute comprehensive flight planning, risk assessment, and performance calculations using advanced EFB software.
- Manage aircraft systems, navigation, and communications with precision and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Actively participate in Crew Resource Management (CRM), fostering open communication, mutual respect, and a flattened power gradient in the cockpit.
- Monitor aircraft systems configuration, flight path, and fuel status, providing proactive callouts and cross-checks.
- Maintain currency and proficiency through rigorous simulator training, LOFT scenarios, and FAA-mandated checks.
- Mentor and guide less experienced crew members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
- Conduct thorough post-flight debriefs and complete all necessary flight documentation with 100% accuracy.
Qualification
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate (no restrictions).
- Minimum 1,500 hours total fixed-wing time (1,000 hours turbine PIC highly preferred).
- Active Boeing 737 Type Rating (NG/Max experience a distinct advantage).
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency with a valid passport (global travel required).
- Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to make rapid, safe decisions under pressure.
- Must clear a comprehensive background check, pre-employment drug screening, and DOT/FAA regulatory checks.
