Farm Operations & Crop Management
We are a family-owned farm in the heart of Fresno County, looking for a dedicated General Farmer to join our team. This role involves overseeing daily operations, including planting, irrigation, pest management, and harvesting of row crops. You will work closely with our agronomy team to implement sustainable practices and maximize yields. Ideal candidates have a passion for agriculture, mechanical aptitude, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibility
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment
- Monitor and manage crop health, including pest and disease control
- Perform soil preparation, planting, fertilizing, and harvesting
- Maintain and repair farm structures, fences, and equipment
- Keep accurate records of planting, yields, and chemical applications
- Supervise seasonal workers and coordinate daily tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Assist with livestock care if applicable (feeding, cleaning, health checks)
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's/Bachelor's in Agriculture preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general farming or crop production
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of modern farming techniques and equipment
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
