Responsibility
- Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and open surgeries, with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, formulate accurate diagnoses, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient safety.
- Provide exceptional pre-operative and post-operative patient education and support.
- Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and medical research to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery.
- Valid state medical license to practice in New York.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-residency surgical experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
