Responsibility
- Perform complex surgical procedures including laparoscopic, robotic, and open surgeries
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care planning
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups
- Maintain precise surgical documentation and electronic health records
- Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor surgical residents and medical students
Qualification
- Board certification in General Surgery
- Current medical license in New York State
- Fellowship training in surgical sub-specialty preferred
- 5+ years of clinical surgical experience
- DEA registration for controlled substances
- Strong proficiency in minimally invasive techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
