In this role, you will uncover and deliver breaking stories that inform, engage, and inspire our diverse readership. You will work closely with editors and multimedia teams to produce high‑impact content across digital platforms.
Responsibility
- Research, investigate, and write accurate, compelling news articles on a range of topics.
- Conduct interviews with sources, verify facts, and uphold journalistic ethics.
- Produce multimedia content, including video briefs and photo galleries, to complement written pieces.
- Optimize articles for SEO and distribute content through social media channels.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and fairness.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and data journalists to enrich storytelling.
- Monitor breaking news and contribute to live coverage as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven portfolio of published news articles or investigative reports.
- Strong command of AP style, grammar, and editorial guidelines.
- Excellent research, interviewing, and writing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems.
- Experience with multimedia storytelling (video, audio, photography) is a plus.
