Responsibility
- Perform complex cardiac and thoracic surgeries including CABG, valve replacements, and lung resections
- Lead multidisciplinary surgical teams and mentor junior surgeons
- Participate in clinical research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Develop innovative surgical techniques and protocols
- Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and critical care specialists
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and regulatory standards
Qualification
- Board-certified in General Surgery and Thoracic/Cardiac Surgery
- Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery from ACGME-accredited program
- 10+ years of experience in complex surgical procedures
- Active medical license in Arizona (or ability to obtain)
- Strong leadership skills and commitment to patient-centered care
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical systems preferred
