Responsibility
- Develop and implement engaging, standards-aligned curriculum for grades 3-5
- Utilize differentiated instruction techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Assess student progress through formative/summative evaluations and data analysis
- Foster inclusive classroom culture with positive behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with specialists and parents to support student growth plans
- Integrate technology and project-based learning into daily lessons
- Participate in curriculum development and school improvement initiatives
Qualification
- Master's degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Valid NYS Teaching Certification (Grades 1-6)
- Minimum 3 years classroom experience with demonstrated results
- Proficiency in literacy and mathematics instruction methodologies
- Strong classroom management and student engagement techniques
- Experience with IEP implementation and 504 accommodations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
