Responsibility
- Perform complex general surgeries including oncological resections, trauma interventions, and minimally invasive procedures
- Lead multidisciplinary surgical teams and coordinate patient care across departments
- Train and mentor surgical residents and fellows through structured teaching programs
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to peer-reviewed publications
- Develop innovative surgical techniques and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain surgical privileges compliance and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborate with oncology, gastroenterology, and trauma services for integrated care
Qualification
- Board-certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery
- Fellowship training in Surgical Oncology or Minimally Invasive Surgery preferred
- Current Massachusetts medical license and DEA registration
- Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship surgical experience
- Proven leadership in complex surgical cases with documented outcomes
- Strong commitment to medical education and resident training
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical platforms (da Vinci)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
