Responsibility
- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in data science, machine learning, and statistics.
- Design engaging lesson plans, assessments, and interactive learning experiences that align with industry standards.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progress, research projects, and career pathways.
- Collaborate with faculty on curriculum improvement, research initiatives, and interdisciplinary projects.
- Publish scholarly work, present at conferences, and contribute to the advancement of the field.
- Participate in department meetings, committees, and university service activities.
- Maintain office hours and provide constructive feedback to support student success.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- Minimum of two years of university‑level teaching experience in data science or analytics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong grasp of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a student‑centered approach.
- Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment is a plus.
- Active engagement in research or professional practice in data science is desirable.
