Responsibility
- Design and deliver engaging undergraduate/postgraduate modules in Computer Science
- Supervise MSc/MPhil research projects and PhD candidates
- Conduct high-impact research publishable in top-tier conferences/journals
- Secure external research funding through UKRI/EU grants
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes
- Engage with industry partners through knowledge transfer activities
- Mentor junior academics and participate in departmental committees
Qualification
- PhD in Computer Science or closely related field
- Postgraduate teaching qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong publication record in top-tier venues (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, IEEE Security)
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding
- Experience with both traditional and innovative teaching methodologies
- Proven track record of student mentoring and supervision
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
