In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to conduct high-quality therapeutic interventions, perform comprehensive psychological assessments, and contribute to the development of innovative treatment protocols.
Responsibility
- Conduct individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Psychodynamic therapy.
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments to formulate accurate treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and agency standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in clinical supervision and professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in mental health.
Qualification
- Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited institution.
- Current Licensure as a Psychologist in the State of New York (or eligibility for licensure).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-doctoral clinical experience preferred, particularly in a clinical or private practice setting.
- Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
- Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and mental health needs.
