Responsibility
- Deliver individual, group, and family psychotherapy using CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments for diagnostic clarity
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and care coordinators
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Participate in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives
- Conduct crisis intervention and emergency response when needed
Qualification
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD or PhD) from an APA-accredited program
- Valid New York State psychologist license (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- Minimum 3 years postdoctoral experience in clinical settings
- Expertise in diagnostic assessment and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- Strong cultural competence with diverse populations
- Excellent written/verbal communication and documentation skills
- Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
