Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions.
- Provide individual, couples, and group psychotherapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR.
- Develop and implement personalized, client-centered treatment plans in alignment with clinical best practices.
- Document all clinical interactions accurately and confidentially in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians.
- Participate in ongoing clinical supervision, case consultations, and professional development workshops.
- Engage in community outreach and educational seminars to promote mental health awareness.
Qualification
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited institution.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in New York State.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport.
- Commitment to cultural humility and working with diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR).
