Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring, conduits, panels, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations
- Inspect electrical components and troubleshoot faults using multimeters, circuit testers, and other diagnostic equipment
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Houston codes and regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to complete jobs on schedule and within budget
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including permits, inspections, and material usage
- Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely repairs for urgent electrical issues
Qualification
- Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license required
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on electrical experience in residential and/or commercial environments
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes, local electrical codes, and OSHA safety standards
- Proficiency with electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to stand, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions
