Responsibility
- Conduct precise boundary surveys using GPS, total stations, and 3D laser scanning
- Prepare ALTA/NSPS land title surveys and subdivision plats
- Manage construction staking and as-built verification for commercial projects
- Analyze geospatial data using Auto Civil 3D and Esri GIS software
- Oversee field crews and ensure compliance with state surveying regulations
- Prepare detailed survey reports and legal descriptions
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and municipal agencies
Qualification
- Valid Texas Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering or Geomatics
- 5+ years of experience in land surveying
- Proficiency with Trimble and Leica survey equipment
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS applications
- Strong understanding of Texas land laws and regulations
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification preferred
- Excellent communication and project management skills
