Responsibility
- Conduct boundary, topographic, and construction surveys using advanced equipment.
- Prepare and review survey plats, maps, and legal descriptions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers for project integration.
- Manage survey crew operations and ensure data accuracy.
- Utilize GPS, total stations, and GIS software for data collection and analysis.
- Provide expert testimony in legal disputes related to land boundaries.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment regularly.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Valid Professional Surveyor license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in land surveying.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and GIS applications.
- Strong understanding of property laws and boundary principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
