Responsibility
- Conduct precise land surveys using GPS, total stations, and 3D laser scanning
- Prepare detailed topographic, boundary, and construction survey reports
- Oversee field crews and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Collaborate with civil engineers and urban planners on large-scale projects
- Utilize CAD and GIS software for data analysis and mapping
- Manage project budgets and client communication throughout survey lifecycle
Qualification
- Texas Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering or Geomatics
- 5+ years of commercial land surveying experience
- Proficiency in Trimble/Leica equipment and Carlson/Civil 3D software
- Strong understanding of ALTA/NSPS standards and FEMA flood mapping
- Certification in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) survey operations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
