Responsibility
- Perform complex diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on internal combustion engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Execute routine preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid flushes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify underlying issues that may not be immediately visible.
- Document all repairs and service procedures accurately in the computerized service management system.
- Collaborate with service advisors to ensure clear communication with customers regarding vehicle status and repair recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
Qualification
- Valid ASE Certification (A1-A8) or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an automotive technician.
- Proficiency with modern automotive diagnostic scanners and computerized systems.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC.
- Ability to read and interpret technical service bulletins and repair manuals.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
