Responsibility
- Conduct thorough client fittings and measurements for bespoke suits, tuxedos, and evening wear.
- Interpret design concepts and translate them into precise patterns and garment construction.
- Execute high-quality cutting, stitching, and finishing of bespoke garments.
- Perform expert alterations and repairs on existing clothing with a focus on fit and finish.
- Maintain a pristine work environment and ensure all tools and machinery are in optimal condition.
- Consult with clients on fabric selection, style, and fit to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the design team to innovate and refine tailoring techniques.
Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in bespoke tailoring or high-end fashion.
- Proven proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and tailoring equipment.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, draping, and pattern making.
- Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with high-profile clients.
- Portfolio of previous bespoke work is mandatory for consideration.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours during peak fashion seasons.
